Why? Golf is fun and sociable and is a great game to share with family, friends and colleagues no matter what your sporting ability	What? Each taster session lasts 60 minutes to introduce you to basic skills. Sessions are relaxed and fun and £5 covers your coaching and club

Golf Tuition by Appointment - Beginner

Private tuition is charged at £22.00 per 1/2 hour or £99.00 per 5 x 1/2 hour lessons. The 5 x 1/2 hour lessons are structured to ensure you have a solid basis of skill to get started:

Lesson 1: Address fundamentals, equipment guide, swing exercises

Lesson 2: Lesson 1 recap, Build length of swing to 3/4

Lesson 3: Full swing, Introduction of other golf clubs

Lesson 4: Concentrating on use of all clubs

Lesson 5: Short game

Ladies Courses

There are a number of ladies courses taking place over a 6 week period. These are a great way to meet new people and learn together. The lesson plan progresses as the group does.

These lessons are available to ladies aged over 18 and a 6 week course costs £36.00. Please phone or enquire at the Pro Shop for start dates.

Juniors - Ages 4-10 and 10-15

Yes, golf is a great hobby for kids and Bishopswood is the perfect environment to start them off. Junior golf tuition runs over a 6 week period and costs £25.00. These lessons cover:

Lesson 1: Grip / Set up / Short swing

Lesson 2: How to build a full swing

Lesson 3: The use of different clubs

Lesson 4: Short game

Lesson 5: Putting

Lesson 6: Safety and common sense when playing golf
